ราษฎรบางส่วนอพยพมาจากภาคอีสาน เมื่อมาตั้งรกรากที่กิ่งอำเภอแม่เปิน ได้นำความรู้เรื่องการทอผ้า ย้อมสีธรรมชาติมาเผยแพร่ มีลวดลายต่างๆ อาทิ ลายปลาเสือตอ ลายพื้นบ้านต่าง ๆ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการทอผ้าพื้นเมืองโปร่งเขนง ซึ่งมีทั้งผ้าป่าแดงและผ้ามัดหมี่ที่บ้านปากดง ตำบลด่านช้าง อำเภอบรรพตพิสัยอีกด้วย

In the past some northeastern residents moved to the north and settled in the Pern District, where they carried on the weaving knowledge brought with them. They use natural dyes for their thread. Weaving cloth includes patterns such as pla-Seu-Tor and other local patterns. The weaving of Prong-Kaneng, a traditional fabric, as well as Pa-Daeng cloth and Mud-Mee can be found in Ban Pak- Dong at Dan-Chang Sub-district in Banpot Pisai District.
