จังหวัดยโสธรเป็นจังหวัดที่เล็กที่สุดในภาคอีสานตอนล่าง ห้อมล้อมด้วยจังหวัดนครพนม ร้อยเอ็ด อุบลราชธานี ศรีสะเกษ
ที่บ้านน้อมเกล้า ตำบลบุ่งค้า อำเภอเลิงนกทาและที่บ้านคำน้ำสร้าง ตำบลค้อเหนือ อำเภอเมืองทอผ้าไหมหางกระรอก ผ้าพื้นเรียบ และผ้าฝ้าย เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ยังพบเห็นการทอผ้าตามที่ตำบลหัวเมือง อำเภอมหาชนะชัยซึ่งมีการทอผ้าไหมพื้นเรียบ ผ้าไหมมัดหมี่ ผ้าขิด ลายดอกหวายถือว่าเป็นผ้าเอกลักษณ์ของจังหวัด

    Yasothon

This is smallest province in the southern part of Northeast, surrounded by neighboring provinces like Nakhon Phanom, Phanom, Roi Et, Ubon Ratchatani and Si Sa Ket.
In this province, Hang-Kra-Rok silk, plain cloth and cotton are woven at Ban Nom Klao of Bung-Ka Sub-district in Lerng Nok Ta District and at Ban Kam Nam Sang of Kor Nua Sub-district in Mueang District. Commonly found in other Districts are plain silk, Mud-Mee and Khid in the Dok-Wai pattern (Hua Mueang Sub-district in Maha Chanachai District). Khid in the Dok-Wai pattern is the symbol of the province.
