จังหวัดชลบุรีฟื้นฟูการทอผ้าอย่างจริงจัง เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2545 ที่โรงเรียนวัดใหม่เกตุงาม และต่อมา ในปี พ.ศ. 2546 เปลี่ยนชื่อผ้าทอ "อ่างศิลา" เป็น "ผ้าทอบ้านปึก" การทอผ้าดำเนินไปด้วยดีจนถึงปัจจุบัน โดย มีสมาชิกทอผ้าเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ส่วนใหญ่ทอผ้าฝ้าย อาทิ ผ้าฝ้ายลายพิกุล ผ้าขาวม้าลายสก็อต นอกจากนี้ ที่บ้านบึงอำเภอบ้านบึง ยังมีการทอผ้าฝ้ายพื้น ผ้าทอปักตัวอักษร ผ้าขาวม้า และเพื่อเป็นการสืบสานและรักษา ไม่ให้สูญเสียจึงบรรจุวิชาการทอผ้าในหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนของโรงเรียน

In B.E. 2545, there was a revival of traditional Thai weaving at Wat Mai Ket Ngam school and the name of "Ang Sila" cloth was changed to "Ban Peuk" cloth. Since B.E. 2546, the restored weaving project has been running smoothly, with an increasing number of members. As the main thrust of the project was the preservation of Thai weaving techniques, a weaving class was integrated into the school curriculum. Most of the products are cotton in the Pi-Kul pattern as well as plaided loincloths. At Ban Bueng village in Ban Bueng District, weavers produce plain cotton cloth with alphabet embroidery and loincloths.
