สตรีชาวเมืองนครศรีธรรมราชสมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยานุ่งห่มผ้ายกไหมสอดแทรกลวดลายด้วยดิ้นทอง สวยงามบ้านเนินธัมมังสืบสานการทอผ้ายกเมืองนคร อาทิ ลายดอกพิกุล ลายรสสุคนธ์ นอกจากนี้ การรักษา วัฒนธรรมทอผ้ายกเมืองนครยังมีให้เห็นที่กลุ่มทอผ้าบ้านตรอกแค ตำบลขอนหาด อำเภอชะอวด และยังมีผ้า มัดย้อมสีธรรมชาติ บ้านคีรีวง ตำบลกำโลน อำเภอลานสกา เป็นต้น

Nakhon Si Thammarat

A portrait of Nakhon Si Thammarat's women during the Ayutthaya period shows them dressed in exquisite Thai silk costumes woven in the ancient technique. Ban Nuen-Tammang has preserved the weaving technique of Nakhon Sithammarat, undertaking patterns such as Dok-Pikul and Ros-Sukon. The Yok Mueang Na-Khon weaving cultre can still be seen in the weaving from Ban Trok-Kae of Khon-Hart sub-district in Cha-Uat District. The natural tie-dyed method is used in Ban Kiri-Wong at Kam-Loan Sub-district in Larn-Saka District.
